The future of all Silver bands is of course dependent on the next generation of players.  As we all know the development of a competent player takes years, so forward planning is essential if the band is to thrive and succeed.

Specific youth tuition takes place every Monday night commencing 7.45pm.  This tuition takes place both in an ensemble setting and on an individual basis.  Our dedicated youth tutor, James Cooke, comes from a successful youth playing career and currently occupies the Soprano Cornet seat in Championship Section band Murley Silver.  James delivers an excellent learning style in a safe, friendly environment and all our young players are given equal opportunities to progress.

 

Any young people who are interested in either starting to play a brass instrument or who may wish to develop an existing talent will be made more than welcome any Monday night.  Please feel free to come along or make contact with any of our members.
